Programs:
· K - 2: I use storytelling and my picture books to talk about characters, ideas, and other elements of fiction.
· Grades 3 - 5: I use my picture books and my novels, Cicada Summer and Attack of the Fluffy Bunnies, to teach kids about the process of writing and publishing.
· Questions & Answers with students. This is my favorite part of every presentation because I never know what kids will ask next!
· Writing workshops are available for small groups (<30 kids).
· 6+1 Traits: I offer presentations & Writing Workshops about ideas, word choice, and voice.

Programs:
Using the magic of the internet, I interact with kids to talk about reading, writing, and a writer’s life.
· Each session is tuned for the specific audience.
· Conferencing software allows the audience to see my computer desktop so I can share photos, videos, and powerpoint presentations.
· Get a look at my upcoming works and see the process of creating a picture book or novel.
· Questions & Answers with students. This is my favorite part of every presentation because I never know what kids will ask next!
· 6+1 Traits: I am a big fan of the 6+1 Traits and offer presentations about ideas, word choice, and voice.

Format:
· Presentations for groups of up to 200 kids.
· 4 sessions (45 minutes each) per day. Note: Sessions can be split into two mini-sessions for pre-K & K. |
Format:
· Group size is limited to 75 students per session. Smaller groups are preferred.
· 45-minute and 1-hour sessions available.
